WORDS TO REMEMBER

We have gathered here today to join in the holy estate of matrimony *bride* *bride last* and *groom* *groom last*.

GIVING AWAY

Who gives this woman to be married?

WORDS TO REMEMBER, As you two walk hand in hand...

·        Be open to each other.  Continue to trust and reveal yourselves to each other.

·        Comfort each other.  Provide for your partner a refuge and sanctuary from the world.

·        Remain friends and partners.  Friendship is what brought you together.

·        Listen to each other.  And hear not only words, but also the non language of tone, mood and expression.  Learn to listen, and listen to learn.  Never stop listening to one another.

·        Respect each other's rights.  Allow the other to be an individual.  Accept the other as you would be accepted. Allow each other their own uniqueness.

·        Cherish your union.  Let no one come between your togetherness.  Not worldly good, friends or career.

·        Give each other approval.  Remember small acts of appreciation can be the most effective way to demonstrate love and respect for each other.

·        Love one another.  Love is your river of life.  Above all else, love one another.

1 Corinthians 13:4‑8

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. {5}It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. {6}Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. {7}It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. {8}Love never fails.
